2011 Jubilee a success! 07/25/2011
Late in the evening on July 24, we wrapped up our first-ever Parkour Generations Jubilee. In total we had 34 participants coming from all over the Midwest. We even had a traceur come all the way from Georgia! The training was challenging, as is to be expected from Parkour Generations, but everyone rose to the challenge and showed true traceur spirit through all the training. More details to come as we prepare a thorough write-up and get our pictures uploaded! Thank you to all who attended and worked so hard, as well as to Dom, Blane, and Yao for providing such excellent leadership, instruction, and inspiration! 2 Comments What: a chance to do a little nature parkour When: Sunday, August 15, 2010. 10:00am until we get tired. Where: Devil's Lake State Park. Meet at the North Shore, near the snack shack. We will probably do most of our training near the South Shore so if you come late, look for us there, or call. Details: 1. Bring a sack lunch or some food/snacks and lots of water. 2. Devils Lake requires an entrance sticker on your vehicle. If you do not have a parks pass sticker, you can get a day pass at the entrance for $7. |
