Wisconsin Parkour formed in 2006-2007, and in 2008 became an LLC. Our passion is movement. Our motivation arises out of a deep love for the discipline of parkour and the desire to help people and communities grow and achieve through movement. We are a community of dedicated individuals who strive to train parkour in the way it was intended by the creators.  We highly value safety and healthy progression, as well as building a positive community of practitioners who promote respect, humility, and selflessness.
In 2010, we were among the first cohort of traceurs in the United States to earn A.D.A.P.T. Level 1 parkour coaching certification. Our instructors are dedicated to continuing our own knowledge and progression in parkour, prioritizing training opportunities with the founders and principal developers of the discipline, Parkour Generations and the Yamakasi. We are currently working towards achieving Level 2 A.D.A.P.T. certifications, with plans to travel to the UK and France in 2012 to further our knowledge by training with these founding organizations.

Locally, we have brought the art of movement to Wisconsin's youth by partnering with organizations such as Fit City Madison, Girls Inc., Kennedy Heights Community Center, and several K-12 schools. We continue to contribute to our local communities through events such as Ride The Drive, Madison Works Week, and more.
In addition to providing classes and developing our own community, Wisconsin Parkour is active in the national and international parkour community. Our members are active, regular participants in large-scale initiatives with other parkour communities across the U.S., such as the development of training programs, establishment of industry standards, and parkour advocacy.
